Join Lucy Lovell and More Song for a workshop cultivating a poetics of attentiveness, from 2pm on April 9th at the 1 in 12 Club Library. Lucy will guide us through writing poetry that 'bites' the writer into 'knowing', drawing from advertising, misread and misremembered quotation, and other found text, challenging our reliance on language for rendering the world and its complexities.

All are welcome to join us as we delve into work by Paul Celan, Dionne Brand, Callie Gardner and Iliassa Sequin.

Tickets for the workshop include entry into the evening's reading, where Lucy will be joined by Leo Kang Beevers and Jeremy Over from 7pm. We'll be reserving a couple of spots on the open mic for workshop attendees too, and are very much looking forward to hearing you share your work.
